a make & keep rocket workshop

Illustration of a rocket

Calling all rocket scientists! Our friendly space cadets will help you build a metre-high flying rocket.

Learn how to assemble the rocket, find out what each part is for and discover the forces acting on the rocket as it soars into the sky.

For the finale, select a suitable launch site, prime the engine, commence countdown and blast off…..!

A parachute recovery system ensures a gentle touchdown.
